Service Description

Junior Biologists is our late elementary/early middle school life science program for kids ages 10 and 11 (5th and 6th grade as of October 1, 2025). Wild adventure, exploring, and intimate encounters with nature (both in the Lab and out) are a priority. Depending on the season, weather, animal activity, and academic goals, our Junior Biologists may spend part or all of the day at a local park or open space within one to two miles of My Nature Lab. Our destination(s) will always be communicated to parents in advance. Our homeschool programs provide a rich and thorough life science education. Through hands-on encounters with our live animals, digital media (primarily maps, data charts, photographs, and short video clips), art projects, literature, games, science labs, outdoor exploration, and more, we learn biology in a fun, engaging, and meaningful way. Throughout the school year, we will meet or exceed the Colorado state life science standards. Open to eight participants $180 deposit at registration Payment in full: $1146 due June 15 ($1326 total) Payment by session: $780 due June 15 and $600 due November 15 ($1560 total)
