Visit Open Lab
My Nature Lab is open to the public!

Individuals, families, and groups of 5 or fewer do not need a reservation.
​
Groups of 6–12 people must contact us in advance so we can make sure there is adequate space during your planned visit.
​
Groups larger than 12 require a private booking.
​
Open Lab admission is $20 per person.

Pricing
Visits to Open Lab are $20/person.
Visits are free for My Nature Lab members according to the terms of their membership.

What is
Open Lab?
My Nature Lab is your place for creative learning and exploration of nature through unique and one of a kind experiences.
During Open Lab, our educators are always teaching you about these animals through hands-on learning. Come meet Spike the Bearded Dragon, hold a snake, or feed Tabasco the green iguana - every experience is different and unique but we promise to teach you something new with every visit.

How Long Should We Visit?
Most visitors find that about two hours is the ideal amount of time at Open Lab. This gives you plenty of time to explore the Lab, participate in hands-on lessons, meet animals, and ask questions.

Open Lab admission is public admission and is not a reservation for a dedicated space or private educator.
Feeding
Friday
Looking to see a snake eat?
Join us during Open Lab every Friday for Feeding Friday! This weekly event is your chance to learn all about the unique way that each of these animals eats, including the chance to feed many of them yourself. Feeding Friday happens every Friday, and animals are fed non-stop while we are open.
What to Expect
Wear layers. My Nature Lab is about 80°F year-round.

Bring water bottles. We don't have a drinking fountain, but we have places to refill reusable water bottles.
​
Come ready to learn! ​Visitors must keep their voices low, never grab/squeeze animals, always ask before picking up animals, show respect for all, and have fun!
