Field Trips
Field trips at My Nature Lab are our most hands-on private experiences featuring live reptiles and amphibians for schools, homeschool co-ops, libraries, scout groups, senior living communities, and more!
Our experienced educators will work with you to customize a unique program tailored to your group's needs and interests. If you have specific standards or topics you would like us to highlight during your visit, we are more than happy to adjust our lesson to meet your needs or build a new lesson just for you!

Logistics
Offered: Year-round. Call or email for availability or check our calendar. Wednesdays are preferred.
Duration: 90 minutes (includes 15 minutes for orientation and exploration, 60 minutes of hands-on lessons with our live amphibians and reptiles, and 15 minutes for questions and exploration)
Group Size: Up to 40 total participants (includes children and adults)

Prices: $380 for up to 30 participants (adults and students); $10/additional student, $15/additional adult.
Adult to Student Ratio (if applicable):1 adult (teacher/chaperone) per 10 students minimum (high school exempted).

Come prepared: My Nature Lab stays around 80°F year-round. Wear layers and bring water bottles. My Nature Lab does not have a water fountain and snacks are not allowed in the main Lab space. Two picnic tables are available outside of My Nature Lab, but these cannot be reserved.
