A Living Classroom

Conservation Through Education

My Nature Lab is a Living Classroom that is open to the public.  We are the educational facility of the Center for Snake Conservation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We promote and encourage conservation by stimulating our curiosity and love for nature through hands-on exploration based in science.

Concisely put by Baba Dioum, "In the end we will conserve only what we love; we will love only what we understand; and we will understand only what we are taught."

We Are Open to the Public

Your Day at the Lab

We believe in a hands on approach to exploring the natural world. One day we may be measuring snakes and weighing turtles at the lab, the next we may be outside watching fish in the stream. No matter the activity, you will be immersed in nature while learning to love it through our one-of-a-kind programs. Stop by the lab and see what adventure we are going on today!
