Service Description

Life Scientists is our elementary life science program for kids ages 8 and 9 (3rd and 4th grade). Wild adventure, exploring, and intimate encounters with nature (both in the Lab and out) are a priority. Depending on the season, weather, animal activity, and academic goals, our Life Scientists may spend part or all of the day at a local park or open space within one to two miles of My Nature Lab. Our destination(s) will always be communicated to parents in advance. Open to eight participants.

Group Visit Policy

To maintain the quality of our educational experience and preserve space for members and other visitors, organized groups during Open Lab are limited to 12 total participants.

​

1–5 people: $20/person; no advance notice required
6–12 people: $20/person; advance notice required
13–15 people: $450 private classroom visit; 2 hours
16–40 people: $900 private Main Lab visit; 2 hours

 

All adults and children count toward group size.

 

Groups may not divide into smaller parties, arrive separately, or use separate transactions to avoid the group-size requirement.
