About the event
Join My Nature Lab's experienced educators and resident animals for a 5-week series all about reptiles and amphibians! Students will learn about what makes these incredible animals unique, how they fit into our ecosystems, which animals they might encounter locally, and how they can help to protect these critical species. Programs take place from 2:45 - 3:30 on the following dates:
10/22: What are reptiles and amphibians?
10/29: Basic needs of reptiles and amphibians
11/5: Adaptations & habitats (desert, forest, grassland)
11/12: Life cycles of reptiles and amphibians
11/19: Local species (where and when to find them and how to identify them)
