My Nature Lab Needs Your Help
Updated: Feb 14
Just as Hasani, a savannah monitor lizard, is growing and shedding his skin, so must My Nature Lab. A huge thank you to everyone who supported us, made donations, made appointments, bought or renewed memberships, signed up for programs, and shared our social media posts. You have kept us alive through this first part of the pandemic, and, although we are not out of the woods yet, we are looking to the future.
Our lease is up in March, and we want to move - actually, we need to move to expand our business in ways that will allow us to continue to survive this pandemic. Moving will allow us to: open more hours; have more appointments available; explore opportunities for longer appointments; host birthdays and camps; create a classroom dedicated to enriching our minds about nature (and snakes); get high-speed internet to live stream from the Lab; and much, much more.
In order to move, we will need help. We have found a place in Louisville that fits our needs and growth projections for the next 5 years. We are looking for a commercial real estate agent or lawyer to help us negotiate a lease. We will also need financial help to bridge the gap of the new lease and space build-out. We want to build out the new Lab to create opportunities for a bigger and more magical learning environment full of hands on experiences. We have started a fund, but we are looking for help with additional fundraising exposure, ideas, and efforts.
Are you either of these people? If so, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can make a donation now specific to helping with our move. These funds will be stored in a separate account and be used to get us into a new space.
Thank you and we are SO looking forward to shedding our skin and what 2021 brings My Nature Lab.
