Herpetology Course for Adults!

We are excited to offer an intensive 10-week herpetology course this winter/spring for advanced high school students, college students, and adults. This class is for those wanting to expand their knowledge of reptiles and amphibians as well as beginners with a basic understanding of ecology/biology. It will provide students with an introduction to herpetology and general knowledge of amphibians and reptiles as we explore the life histories, habitat requirements, and biodiversity of frogs, salamanders, turtles, lizards, and snakes.
This class will meet at My Nature Lab on Mondays and Thursdays from 7pm until 8pm. In addition, outside readings (provided) will be expected to help fill in the weekly lessons.
Here is the schedule and topics for each week. Our first class will be Monday, February 15 at 7pm and our final class will be on April 22nd - just in time for the field season to begin.
