Frog, Snakes, and More!

We had an incredible day today learning all about Chameleons. We learned about the bone in their tongue and how it helps them catch prey. We learned that chameleons change color because they are either angry or excited and NOT for camouflage. We also learned that they have zygodactylic feet for grasping onto small branches and sticks as they move through shrubs and trees. We learned a LOT!

We still have space in our Frogs and Snakes programs this weekend and next Monday. Click on a link to register!

The American Bullfrog is an amphibious BEAST! Do you know why? Can a frog really catch a passing fly with its tongue? Just how far can a frog jump? We will answer these questions and MORE!
